Sixth Summer Meeting: Tenchi Universe and Ceres, Celestial Legend
July 21, 2006, 9:54 pm by Webmaster
After discussions about the film fest we first voted to watch Tsubasa Chronicle but suffered technical difficulties. We then watched Tenchi Universe and sampled two episodes of Ceres, Celestial Legend. From Animenfo “Although Tenchi Universe was released after the Tenchi Muyo OAVs, everything is different. Several girls coming from different parts of the galaxy somehow manage to squeeze themselves into Tenchi's once ordinary life.“ From Animenfo Ceres, Celestial Legend is the story of Aya Mikage and her twin brother Aki, driven apart by the forces of fate. On their sixteenth birthday, Aya and Aki are called to the family home to be given a special present. What they thought was a birthday party, however, was really a test--one which Aya failed”
